Hello, Just happened to run into your website while browsing the web and wanted to leave you a thank you message. It’s been almost a year since I purchased my wonderful pom, Tara, from your kennel, and she has been such a joy to my family and i. we own 2 other poms and she is just the most fun-loving, playful, affectionate dog I have ever owned. This is not to mention the fact that she is beautiful. I would like to let you know that I really appreciate you and your kennel for breeding such high quality, good natured canines. I have passed on your name to just about everyone that I know and told them about your lovely kennel, wonderful dogs, and fair pricing...unlike some greedy breeders that jack up prices according to size, gender, color, breeding rights, etc… You all are good, fair, honest people and really bring happiness to the lives of many by providing the services that you do, and though you may not know it, your business has produced an extra ray of sunshine in the everyday lives of my family and i. We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts and are looking forward to doing business with you again in the future. May God bless you and your family and your kennel continue to prosper. With much appreciation, Felix Johnson, King George, VA |

Hello Alvin & Emma, I love all the updates & wondered if you have considered adding in a “proud parents” section...if so, please post this adorable picture of the 2 wonderful pugs we have gotten from you, Rupert and Fiona. Fiona has been a great joy to all of us since we brought her home in February! :) (Rupert was born Jan 2002 & is the pup of Crazy Cowboy & Howling Hill Chance and Fiona was born Dec 2006 & is the pup of Major BJ Micah Malone & Howling Hill Yahoo). This picture is after Fiona was exhausted from playing and taking all of Rupert’s toys! Rupert’s expression is priceless!!! We just cannot tell you how much joy these 2 dogs have brought to us! If I could handle 3, we’d be back again! :) With sincere thanks & know how much they are LOVED!, The Evans Family, Centreville, VA

Alvin, Here is a photo of you with two of your “Alumni”…..Mishka (Black Male) and Sascha (Fawn Male) who were from Pugsly’s and Molly’s litter of 02/27/07. I thought that it would look good on the website as it shows the puppies as they are growing up. It was good seeing you and the Pugs last Wednesday Take care and again Thank you…. Hi Alvin, Emma & Family!, I was so glad to see you had a customer feedback page!!! I wanted to thank you for Thunder & BJ’s puppy, whose name is now Roxi. I adopted her in April 2007 and my boyfriend and I are soooo happy with her!!! She is the greatest puppy I ever had, she’s smart, hilarious and has the sweetest personality. We have considered coming down this winter to get another (a playmate of course). You all were the best in the steps of adopting her and my veterinarian wanted one of your business cards to have at their facility so they could direct “Pug Seekers” to great breeders!I just wanted to thank you and hopefully get Roxi’s picture on your “Pug Alumni Page”. Thank you again, and I hope all is well… You will be hearing from us for sure this winter! Lauren Bonar & Bill Murphy Accident, MD P.S...Yes, the one picture is Roxi the Pug scaring one of my 120 lbs. Rottweilers!!! |

She is such a friendly, playful, and darling little companion who has been the perfect addition to our family. We love her very much! Thank you! Molly Wilcox, Washington, DC |

A blog at jessbousa.com : I have adopted! Not a child, but a PUG!! We were able to rent-a-pug for 4 days while home on a Reading Week Break. She is the best pug I ever met!! We named her Annie for Orphan Annie!! And Olivia for Olivia the pig, so she is Olivia-Ann. You can see her at Howling Hill Kennels, LLC. These people are top notch. They will fly your pug to wherever and whenever, just contact them! Check out their website. You won’t be able to shut down your computer without thinking about buying a PUG.

Hi, I'm Jennie, I bought a party pom puppy from you back in Feb. I wanted to let you know she is doing very well. She loves to play around and also just rest anywhere she can. She is now 3 months and of course will be 4 months on the 26th of this month. She is sooo sweet and is only a total of 2 lbs 2 oz. My vet says she will probably end up just being 3 lbs total. :) The male I had to breed with her, which is only 24 days older then she is, is already 6 lbs. Don't think she will end up as a breeder like I had hoped, at least not with my male that's for sure, unless she surprises me and sprouts up one day. :) She loves running around the house and yelling at our Great Dane. It's so funny. how big they are now?? Well, hope all is doing well with you and your family. Here is a cute picture of little Abby relaxing. Jennie |

Hi Emma & Alvin, We picked Bodie up about a month ago and we are so in love! He is smart, playful, and strong-willed...he's a perfect fit. We can't go anywhere without getting stopped because he is so adorable and friendly. We have already sent many referrals your way. Just wanted to say thanks and let you know he's very happy and in a good home. Kathy & Will |

Dear Alvin & Emma, Winger is doing fine and is officially part of the family. We couldn't imagine our lives without her! My kids tell me every day how much they love her. She is now four months old and loves playing fetch, tug of war and most of all she loves to chase feet and give puppy kisses. She has the best disposition and has yet to meet a stranger. Additionally, we would like to thank you for everything. You were so easy to deal with and very accommodating with our visits. Everything went so smooth and as planned. look no further than here! Best wishes, The Rogers Family Potomac Falls, Virginia
I just had to write after seeing the picture of Blackhawk going potty. We got Lucky from you back in December 2006. He was born October 20 of that year and Blackhawk is his dad -- and I had to let you know that Lucky goes potty the exact same way. I get a kick out of it every time I see it. Sometimes he almost flips over -- his leg is so far in the air. At least I now know that he gets it honestly. Thanks so much for Lucky. He has brought much happiness to our family. Kathy Senft

Hi Alvin and Emma, I just wanted to say thank you again for my sweet little guy. We've had him now about 2 months and he fits right into the family. He has the sweetest personality and, along with our female 1 year old pug, gives us a lot of laughs. I have recommended you to many people already, including some while I was still in Virgina. :) I am attaching a few pictures so you can see how he is growing. Thank you again!! Nikki, Phoenix, AZ |

Now, he's about to get his payback: we're sending out a deposit check to you for one of the new fawn males. We can't wait to see the newest litter! --Julia Tillery |

Greetings Emma & Alvin, Just thought I would write a few sentences about the new puppy I purchased from you for your web-site. I purchased our puppy 3 weeks ago. I named him, "Snoopy," because he looks like the character Snoopy. As you know, I have a nine month old puppy who needed a playmate and Snoopy has fit that role very well. For a 12 week old puppy, he plays like a professional boxer. Therefore, I was thinking of naming him Rockie or Rocco. He is brave and very intelligent. He already knows how to sit and wait for his food. What I find amazing is how well behaved and quiet he is when I put him in his crate to sleep. He will not make a sound all night. I have had puppies when I was a little girl and all of them would cry loud and make disturbing noises to get attention. The minute I would check out the puppies, then leave the room and close the door, they would cry so loud that no one could sleep. So I must say that this is a wonderful and restful puppy. As a matter of fact, the meaning of the name "Rocco and Rockie (which is a nickname for Rocco) is "rest." So I believe that his new name will describe him well. He is a tough player and a restful sleeper. He is still working on potty training, as the vet told me that he will not be able to be taken for walks until he is 16 weeks old and gets all his distemper shots. Thank you so much for this wonderful puppy. Here are a few pictures of him. Grateful, Rev. John, Miriam & Christian |

Dear Alvin and Emma, We hope you are doing well. We wanted to write a quick note to say thank you so much for giving us one of the greatest joys in our life. Oscar is almost one year old now and we could not be happier. He is truly a charmer and has built up quite the fan base in the Washington, DC area. We can't go very far on our walks in the city without being stopped for a picture and a rub. Our family and friends have started to fight one another over who gets to watch him when we are out of town, so clearly he is a hit even though he has earned the nickname of "pugtator" (pug + dictator) for his definitive attitude around other dogs! We think you do a fantastic job at breeding high quality, adorable pugs. We are talking about getting a second dog in the next year and are thinking you can't go wrong with a second pug. I have attached a few pictures of Oscar over the past year to show how he has grown. Thanks again, Sara & Tim |

Just wanted to tell you, we took Lilly to the vet yesterday, and she is very healthy! :) & full of fun. Ashley Bodnar |

Hi, I just wanted to send you this picture. The new little pug is getting along great with Jingles, the pug we got from you all at Christmas a year ago. We have renamed the new pug Shadow since she is so dark. Joe |

Hello, I just wanted to say hello and show you a Picture of Sadie. She is a litter from lil Spark and Minny that were born on 2/15/07. She is doing great and is very healthy. She is definitely from Virginia as she hates New Hampshire Snow. We drove a long way to get her but she was worth it. Tina ~New Hampshire |

Since I picked up the new puppy 2/17/09, he has been a pure joy. We've named him Nudnik, which is a German term of endearment, meaning "pest". He checked out just fine at the vet! The puppy is a great tail-yanker, but unfortunately he's picking on our 17-year-old pomeranian, who wants nothing to do with him. He hasn't found the tail yet on Elmo, the 5-year-old we got from you (October, 2003). Elmo is unbelievably patient and nice to this puppy. The two of them even play together when Elmo is in the mood. I'll be sending along a cute photo or two soon. Pugs are the most amazing dogs I've ever known. Julia Tillery |

Hi Alvin and Emma, Our first puppy, Jake, we purchased from you back in June 2008 is doing great. He has gotten so big and lots of wrinkles. I’ll send pics once I have time to get them downloaded. I see that you have new arrivals. We will be looking soon for a fawn female. Are any of the litters from Bomber, that was Jake’s daddy? Thanks, Darlene L. Michael |

Good Evening Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time out of your day to let us see your puppies. Your husband was very nice. Sorry we couldn’t meet you. Hopefully you will be there when we pick the two little girls up. They are going to be spoiled rotten we already have plans to. Thanks again for your time and have a great day. Stashia and Carlos Good Afternoon, I just wanted to let you know Winny's F#2 (Cookie) and F#3(Lilly) are doing good. Lilly is going to the vet today, and cookie is going on Wednesday. I have a couple pic of Lilly that I took yesterday on my phone but none of cookie right now. So maybe later on tonight I can send you some of Cookie. She is very smart she sleeps with us and when she needs to go the bathroom she wines in are face, which is good for her being 8 weeks. |

Hi Emma, It is nice to hear from you. I am glad I was able to get one of Minnie’s litter before she was retired. One of the reason I picked Roxie because her mother was small. I was hoping she would not get as big as her father, which she didn’t. Roxie (my Boston) is doing well. She is spoiled just like her big sister Angel (our Boxer). They have lots of room to run and it is funny to watch Roxie try to keep up with Angel. They get along great! Roxie is always giving Angel ear cleanings, and Angel sits still for her to finish. I have attached a photo of them both enjoying their rawhides. Kathy Betts |

Hi Emma and Alvin, |
|
Hello! sleeping in a crate at night and is very easy going. I took her to my vet yesterday. She weighs 1.5 lbs and is in perfect health! Dr. Hahn could not believe how alert and responsive Peaches is for such a small puppy. I do have to watch over her because of her size. My 5 month kitten wants to play too hard, so I have to watch that closely. I've included a picture of Peaches in her playpen with my granddaughter. The playpen keeps her safe when I am busy.

Hi there - Just wanted to share a few photos of Cricket who was Snapper's baby..we got her in July 2009 from Howling Hills. She has been the best dog ever and we have a blast with her. Thank you for our great little girl! If we opt to get another pug puppy in the future we will be coming right back to Howling Hills; I have never met or seen a cuter puppy than Cricket! Hi Alvin, Just wanted you to know that Ladybug's little girl is adjusting well. She has seen the vet and all is good (on meds for worms but that's normal) ...I have attached a couple of pictures for you to see her in her new home. I just wanted to say that I was really impressed with your kennel and the quality of your dogs and puppies. We have only had her a week now and she is already a joy and a very welcomed addition to our home. We have named her Bella... Sincere regards, The DeChants Family |

Hi Alvin and Emma, |

Hi there, |

|
Dear Alvin & Emma, Just wanted to give you an update on the puppy we bought from you a couple weeks ago (Snapper & Shadow's litter). We've named her Bella and she is doing wonderfully. She gets along with our other dog and cat and is very happy, healthy, and frisky. Her favorite thing to do is crawl up on your neck and fall asleep. Thank you so much for bringing this precious girl into our lives! We will definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a pug, pomeranian, or boston terrier. :) ~The Warren's - Culpeper, VA. |

I wanted to thank you again for Baxter, my pom that I got from Howling Kennels in Jan. 06. He is a little ray of sunshine, he is loved everywhere he goes. People who don't know me at Radford University, |

I just wanted to e-mail you and let you know that I took the female puppy I picked up on 10/18/2008 to the vet on 10/25 and the vet said she looked to be in good health. I wanted to let you know that I named her Zoey. She is a quick learner. By the second day she has learned to obey the "sit" command and last night she learned "lie down" only after two tries. It was a little bit of a rough night last night, but she has been really good all the other nights. I will send pictures soon. Thank you both and God Bless, Tammy |
