If no puppies are marked as AVAILABLE you will need to get on the waiting list. Only occasionally do we have any available with no names on the waiting list.

Also, only occasionally do we have a retired adult.  We do not keep a waiting list on those so you will need to just check back every now and then if you are interested in a retiree. We will put them on the Adult/Retired links if we have any available.

If you would like to be placed on our waiting list, please email us

your first and last name, breed, color and gender of your desired puppy.

We will place you on the list and email back a confirmation.  If something happens that we fail to get that confirmation back to you, please feel free to ask about it.

DO NOT SEND MONEY BEFORE WE CONTACT YOU WITH AN AVAILABLE PUPPY.

To remain on the list you are required to email us monthly with your continued interest.  If 1 month and 5 days has passed since your last email update, we will assume you are no longer in the market for a puppy and will

move on to the next name.

When we get to your name with an available puppy, we will contact you.

Please remember that situations can change with pregnancies

and with people on the waiting list.

So your timing and placement can change multiple times.

When we contact you with availability, you are welcome to make an appointment to visit to make your choice.  We understand that not everyone is able to make a trip for the deposit and again at pick up, so choosing by pictures is also acceptable.

We ask that you get your deposit to us asap to ensure that the puppy

is reserved for you.

We also welcome you to visit a time or 2 before pick up to start

the bonding process.

Please note that you will need to make an appointment for any visit,

as well as for pick up.  See our hours posted below.

Our puppies are $1600 + $80 tax.

No money is accepted until we have a puppy that you agree to give a home to.

At that point, a deposit of 50 % of the total cost will be required

to reserve the puppy you choose.

Any form of payment listed here is acceptable for the deposit of a puppy

under 6 weeks of age.

After 6 weeks old and/or at pick up, no checks will be accepted.

If using PayPal, please make sure you use our appropriate PayPal button.

You will be charged extra to cover part of the transaction fee.

Zelle, sent to howlinghillkennels@ymail.com  is free to use

so no extra charge for using it.

If your bank does not offer Zelle, you can download the app.

With the app, you will only be able to send up to $500 at a time

so 2 payments are acceptable.

My goal is to take 2, 4 and 6 week old pictures

as well as a litter video at 6 weeks old.

Sometimes things get hectic and I miss taking them, if this happens and you

aren't seeing updates of your puppy, feel free to email me about it.

I certainly don't mean to miss them.

Please make your "pick up" appointment

at least several days before your puppy is 8 weeks old.

See our hours posted below.

By 8 weeks old, your puppy will have had it's first shot,

3 dewormings and a micro chip.

At pick up you will be given AKC papers,  shot/deworming record,

info to register the micro chip with you as the puppy's owner,

a 12 month health guarantee, which includes a spay/neuter contract

and a small bag of food to switch over slowly to the brand of your choice.

We use Southern States brand of food and aren't familiar with the many brands available so if you don't know what brands are good you may want to ask your vet or a friend, with experience.

Your puppy will not be vet checked before leaving unless we see

a problem that needs to be checked by a professional.

We do not do testings on the parent dogs.

We do not breed any dogs that may be related to each other.

Please take the time to also read this page before time to take your puppy home.

We appreciate your commitment to giving the puppy you chose,

a loving and warm home.

If for some reason you are unable to continue your commitment for

the lifetime of the dog and you don't have a family member or close friend

who can continue providing for him,

please call or email us about your situation.

Please DO NOT take him to an SPCA or RESCUE.

We have plenty of willing and capable families that will step in

and provide for him/her.

Email tends to be a better option for us than phone calls

since we are in and out throughout the day.

Thank you for visiting our site and God bless each of you with a great year.
